And now the english translation:
There are couples where you go home after a hard day, with a happy smile reaching over both cheeks. It was the case with Marsha and Pascal, whom I accompanied on their big day as wedding photographer. In the old venerable castle Wartensee we first started with frosty temperatures to the bridal couple photo shooting. The well-kept facility offers a lot of great possibilities and if the couple is also at great speed, like Marsha and Pascal, then one not only forgets the harsh April weather, but also quickly has countless great pictures in the box.
The free wedding ceremony was arranged by Tanja, a good friend of the bride and groom, whom I was also photographing at their own wedding almost exactly 10 years ago. The ceremony was conducted bilingually, the bride comes from far away Arizona — “there you don’t know the coldness”, she bravely said during the previous outdoor shooting.
After a delicious aperitif and a constant look at the rain radar, she went to the “Heidenerbähnli” (small train). It was a great fun to take the train with a wedding party and get to the celebration location in St. Gallen… and in retrospect we were actually lucky with the weather: Only on the way from the station to the restaurant, where the big party was supposed to take place, we were covered with big raindrops…
Dear Marsha, dear Pascal, when I look at your wedding photos there is always a smile on my face. You live and show so much happiness and tenderness, are always ready to have fun and visibly enjoy life intensively. Stay as you are and always take good care of both of you. From my heart I wish you all love and all the best and a great, indescribably beautiful time together on earth.
I hope my translation was halfway understandable 😉
